Blessed and Great (Bendito y Grande)
Father, before the throne of Your grace
I humbly come close
Recognizing that I have sinned
That I have sinned against You
My Father, I confide in You
Lord, help me
I proclaim You, Creator of the Universe
Also, Creator of me
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Help me to do better
Father, before the throne of Your grace
I humbly come close
Recognizing that I have sinned
That I have sinned against You
My Father, I confide in You
Oh, Great Lord, help me
I proclaim You, Creator of the Universe
And also, Creator of me
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Help me to do better
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Blessed and Great, Powerful Lord
Help me to do better
Help me to do better
Help me to do better, better, better

In Mexico and in certain other Spanish-speaking countries, there are millions of men and women named, Jesus. So, often, and due to this fact, singers and authors, to make the distinction between Jesus and the other Jesus’ they use the title Christ. So that the hearer or reader knows that they are not talking about some other Jesus, who lives just down the road from them. I guess that makes sense. But, for you and any other English-speaking people, I have used Jesus, the real one, instead of writing, Christ. I suspect you and they will all know that I am talking about the Lord, Jesus, the Christ. In Him, Max
(I Waited) Patiently (Pacientemente)
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
He will save me from the pit
He will lift my heart
From fear unto security
From the mud unto salvation
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
There’s a new song, springing in my soul
Praise, unto our King
I will testify before the people
That in Him, there is salvation
Many will see this
And they will trust in the Lord
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
Patiently, Patiently
He will save me from the pit
He will lift my heart
From fear unto security
From the mud unto salvation
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice
There’s a new song, springing in my soul
Praise, unto our King
I will testify before the people
That in Him, there is salvation
Many will see this
And they will trust in the Lord
Patiently, I wait on the Lord
Y, waiting, He will hear my voice, my voice
Patiently, Patiently, Patiently
God of my life
Patiently
Jesus, I love You
Patiently
And, I need You
Patiently (patiently)
Patiently (Your patience)
Patiently (patiently)
Patiently (Your patience)
Patiently (patiently)
This is a song written by Richie Furay, a Calvary Chapel pastor in Colorado. He used to be with, Buffalo Springfield, and then with the music group, Poco. I have met him several times and always loved this song. This is my version and some of my words don’t match with his. His title is, I Waited. Mine is, Patiently. But, the intention is the same. There are other differences but where ever it was possible, I stayed true to his original words. The score was also modernized and like some of the vocal lines, I made them unique to my way of singing. God Bless You! In Him, His, Max
But, Jehovah (Mas, Jehovah) From the CD, Amigos
But, Jehovah is with me
Like a Powerful Giant
And is Who, in the problems, always
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead, yeah
For so much fear
I don’t have of my persecutors
Well, the Lord is at my side
Dissipating my fears
Dissipating my fears
Well, everyone who does me bad
Will be ashamed
His mind will be filled with confusion
And he’ll never be prospered
But, Jehovah is with me
Like a Powerful Giant
And is Who, in the problems, always
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead, yeah
For so much fear
I don’t have of my persecutors
Well, the Lord is at my side
Dissipating my fears
Dissipating my fears
Well, everyone who does me bad
Will be ashamed
His mind will be filled with confusion
And he’ll never be prospered
But, Jehovah is with me
Like a Powerful Giant
And is Who, in the problems, always
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead, yeah
For so much fear
I don’t have of my persecutors
Well, the Lord is at my side
Dissipating my fears
Dissipating my fears
Well, everyone who does me bad
Will be ashamed
His mind will be filled with confusion
And he’ll never be prospered
But, Jehovah is with me
Like a Powerful Giant
And is Who, in the problems, always
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
Takes me on ahead
This one is hard to translate directly from Spanish to English. It’s a bit tricky sometimes. Like with the line, Takes me on ahead, it could be sung, He takes me on ahead. The, ‘He,’ is implied in the verb, but if I were going to sing it in English, I would probably include the, He. Just to make it sound like a more complete sentence. In Spanish, to us, many things aren’t complete sentences, because our verbs don’t necessarily imply who is doing what and to whom. I like singing in Spanish and often have to change words when I go from one language to the other, just to make things fit and to also have them make the most sense possibly.
